Політика щодо файлів cookie

1. About this policy

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used with the Studio Office e-shop, operated by Takis Charalambous & Co Ltd. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains personal information, legal bases, recipients, transfers and your rights.

Use Cookie Settings to see the current technology and provider details and to manage optional choices. Continuing to browse, scrolling, closing a notice or accepting purchase terms does not, by itself, provide consent to optional tracking.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Related technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags and identifiers used to remember information or communicate with a service. A technology does not fall outside privacy rules simply because it is not called a cookie.

Session technologies generally last for a browsing session. Persistent technologies can remain until their stated expiry or earlier deletion. First-party technologies operate through our website; third-party technologies involve another provider.

3. Strictly necessary technologies

These are limited to what is necessary to transmit a communication or provide a service you expressly request, such as maintaining a shopping basket, managing an authenticated session, enabling the selected checkout process, protecting that service and recording consent choices where necessary.

A tool is not classified as strictly necessary merely because it is useful to our marketing or business analysis. The exemption from consent for a necessary device operation does not remove any separate personal-data protection obligations.

Necessary technologies are not controlled as optional categories in the consent manager. You can still block or delete technologies through your browser, although essential functions may then fail.

4. Optional preference and functional technologies

Where not strictly necessary for a service you request, preference or functional technologies can remember settings or enable optional features. These are used only after the required consent.

An optional feature that depends on a third party, such as an embedded video, map or enhanced chat, may need a separate choice before the provider loads. Declining that feature does not authorise unrelated tracking.

5. Optional analytics

Analytics can help us understand page usage, navigation, performance and how the website is used. Depending on the service, the information may include technical identifiers, device information and interactions.

Optional analytics requiring consent remain disabled until you agree. We do not describe all analytics as anonymous merely because names are absent, an IP setting is enabled or information is later aggregated. Truly necessary operational security logs are assessed separately from optional audience measurement.

6. Optional advertising and measurement

Advertising technologies may measure campaigns, associate website activity with an advertising interaction or help select personalised advertising. Depending on the configured services and your choices, providers can include Google or Meta services identified in Cookie Settings.

These optional technologies are not enabled merely because you make a purchase or accept the Terms & Conditions. Consent choices must also be respected by any associated server-side or account-based advertising integration where the law requires it; moving an event away from the browser is not a reason to ignore your choice.

7. Current providers, purposes and duration

The current Cookie Settings details identify the technologies and providers used on this website, their purposes, relevant categories and duration. Those details form part of the information provided for your choice and must be kept current as the configuration changes.

Not every listed category necessarily has an active technology on every page. A generic example in this policy is not a declaration that every possible provider is installed. We do not apply a single invented lifetime to all cookies or assume that every service uses only session storage.

For information about a particular entry or provider, contact sales@takis.com.

8. Making and changing your choice

The consent controls offer Accept all, Reject optional and Cookie settings. Optional categories are not preselected. You can also make a choice by category and save it.

Rejecting optional technologies should be as accessible as accepting them. You do not need to agree to analytics or personalised advertising to make an ordinary purchase. Where an optional feature cannot operate without the specific technology you declined, that feature may remain unavailable while the ordinary service remains available.

You can reopen Cookie Settings to withdraw consent or change choices. A new consent request may be needed when purposes or providers change in a way requiring a fresh choice. Continuing to use the website is not acceptance of such a change.

9. Browser controls and existing data

Your browser can generally delete stored cookies, limit storage or block third-party technologies. These controls are additional to our consent settings and may affect basket, login or other functionality.

Withdrawing consent stops future consent-based activity as required. It does not automatically delete every record already lawfully collected or every identifier held independently by a third-party provider. The Privacy Policy explains rights such as erasure and objection and how to contact us about them.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn.

10. Third-party content and responsibility

A third-party feature can involve communication with that provider, including receipt of technical information. Where prior consent is required, the feature must not load in a way that bypasses that consent.

Providers may also have their own privacy notices and independent obligations. We remain responsible for our own use, configuration and disclosure of the technologies; saying that a provider controls a cookie does not remove that responsibility.

11. International processing and your rights

Where cookie-related personal information is processed outside the European Economic Area, applicable transfer requirements must be met. The Privacy Policy explains safeguards, how to request more information and your rights.

You may contact sales@takis.com about your choices or lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. In Cyprus, this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

12. Updates and contact

We update this policy and the consent-manager details when the relevant configuration or requirements change. A revised policy is not a substitute for fresh consent where fresh consent is needed.
