Raul Barbieri designed Cactus for Rexite in 1995, giving the coat stand the outline of a stylised tree. Its 4+4 hooks take coats, jackets and bags, and are shaped so clothing hangs without being pulled out of shape.
Head, umbrella ring and base are made of engineering polymer, the rod is painted steel and the base is weighted with steel for stability. The integrated ring holds umbrellas, so a single piece looks after both coats and umbrellas.
Cactus measures Ø 40 cm by 167 cm high and weighs 5.5 kg. It works in office entrances, reception areas, meeting rooms and hallways at home.
