How to adjust your Setu

Sit down and work through the steps in this order. Controls marked If fitted depend on how your chair is configured.

Seat height is Setu's only adjustment. There is no tilt mechanism to set: its Kinematic Spine supports your weight and controls the resistance as you recline.

    Seat height

    Lever on the right side of the chair

    To raise the seat, take your weight off the chair and press the lever up. To lower it, press the lever up while seated.

    Your feet should rest flat on the floor.

The Herman Miller Setu Chair delivers responsive ergonomic comfort through a lightweight design that moves naturally with the user.

Designed by Studio 7.5, Setu features Herman Miller’s flexible Kinematic Spine, which bends and flexes with the body without requiring complicated manual adjustments. The suspension seat and back distribute pressure evenly while allowing continuous airflow, making the chair comfortable for everyday work, meetings and collaborative environments.

This configuration combines a Mineral frame with a refined Silver Alloy five-star base, creating a lighter and more distinctive alternative to traditional dark office seating. The Graphite suspension adds visual contrast while providing flexible support across the seat and back.
