Traverse Table has a slatted ash top on an aluminium frame, in 75, 140 and 190 cm lengths. Traverse by Erwan Bouroullec combines a shot-blasted die-cast aluminium frame with outdoor lacquer and slats of heat-treated solid ash with outdoor wood wax oil; the ash weathers to a silver-grey patina and HAY advises regular oiling. HAY's care guide notes that placing it directly on a seafront can lead to corrosion.
