Status was designed by Raul Barbieri for Rexite in 1991. Its body is a simple modular structure of overlapping rings, a restrained look that suits executive offices, meeting rooms and reception areas.
It is made of painted engineering polymer, in matt black or an aluminium finish, with a floor-protection seal underneath. It holds 18 litres, measures Ø 30 cm by 32 cm high and weighs 2.1 kg.
Two accessories fit it: the Status bag cover ring, which hides the edge of the bin bag, and a recycling cup for separating paper. Both are sold separately.
